Club Zuid (2024)

For cultural festival 'Van A tot Zuid' I was asked by Bureau Ruimtekoers to make a work. The festival aimed at enhancing cultural vibrancy in Arnhem Zuid.

Paired with the talented modern dancer Gijs Hanegraag, we constructed an entrance for a fictional nightclub, 'Club Zuid', a playful nod to what might be lacking in Zuid's cultural scene. Gijs portrayed the dancing bouncer. ‘Club Zuid’ gives the impression of a underground Nightclub in the parking garage of shopping mall Kronenburg Arnhem. Although 'Club Zuid' is no longer on display, who knows, perhaps it will resurface soon! Stay tuned for more updates.
